Bigger, Better and Built for Drama: Welcome to the New Sunny Ridge Field
Sunny Ridge Field began as an ambitious dream in mid-2024, but it did not remain a dream for long. By that fall, construction was roaring ahead, with outfield fences and a striking cedar backstop turning an empty patch of ground into a miniature baseball paradise—a place built for towering home runs, dramatic comebacks, and legends in the making.
The transformation reached another level in 2026. A fully functional scoreboard arrived to record every hard-fought run, followed by a pitching machine ready to test even the fiercest sluggers. The addition of fantastic bar seating around the home plate area gave fans a front-row perch for every big swing, close call, and heated rivalry. Later that year, the field grew once again—expanding by eight feet in width and eight-and-a-half feet in length—to make room for bigger hits, bolder plays, and even more unforgettable action.
Today, Sunny Ridge Field stands as the crown jewel of backyard baseball and the proud home of the EWBL. With its carefully crafted layout, heated rivalries, championship dreams, and unmistakable big-league atmosphere, it is far more than a ball field. It is a place where heroes rise, bragging rights are won, and every crack of the thin plastic bat has the potential to become part of Sunny Ridge history.
